Her availability throughout the week ensures a prompt response to every aspect of the real estate process, reflecting both her professional dedication and her commitment to advancing healthcare in the community.

Past Chair

Todd has been with Commerce Bank since 1998 and has been working in the commercial banking field since 1987. Todd has been advising commercial banking clients during that timeframe in the areas of borrowing, cash management and growth. Currently, he is an Executive Vice-President and manages the Business Banking Division helping his team to develop new loan and deposit opportunities.

Todd is Past Board Chairman for the AdventHealth Kansas City Foundation and is a member of the Johnson County Community College Foundation Advisory Board and Investment Committee. Todd is a graduate of Pittsburg State University with a BBA in Business Administration.

When not chasing his small army of children around the house, Nick serves his clients as a Managing Director and Regional Portfolio Manager at FORVIS Private Client.  An industry veteran of over 20 years, he has extensive experience in portfolio management for ultra-high net worth individuals and not for profit entities.  He’s served on the board of Girls on the Run Greater Kansas City, and as a member of the State of Kansas Learning Quest 529 Plan Treasurer’s Advisory Committee.  He is a graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia.  He is a CFA charterholder, as well as a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certificant.

Jennifer Z. Benjamin

Most recently, Jennifer Benjamin was the President of Verona Key, LLC, a Dunkin’ Donuts franchise. She forged alliances with Dunkin’ leadership, negotiated store development agreements and developed the business plan, growth strategies, operating infrastructure, HR function and corporate policies. Ultimately, she launched the first Dunkin’ Donuts location in the greater Kansas City area in twenty years. That one operation quickly ballooned into a total of 19 points of distribution.

Building a network of stores for a major brand exposed Jennifer to a wide variety of function. Persistently challenged, she became adept at managing crisis, transition and change.  Recognized for her expertise, tenacity and relatability, other franchisee owners elected her to the District Advisory Council as the District Franchisee Representative (DFR), a position she held for ten years. Simultaneously, she continued to scale her own business, directing the acquisition and buildout of additional locations, ensuring top customer service, introducing new technologies and forming an alliance with Harvesters Community Food Network.

Jennifer has a BS degree in Political Science and Communications from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania.

As founder and CEO of Nova R Wealth, Tim takes a very hands-on approach to developing and implementing strategies that serve the complex needs of individual clients, families, and business owners.

Tim’s financial services expertise was honed over 30 years in leadership roles at Wells Fargo Advisors and AG Edwards, and his personal reputation is built on a passion for portfolio management, investment research, and financial and retirement planning. At Nova R Wealth, Tim created an independent environment that enables close client contact as he puts his wealth of knowledge to work for you.

Tim attended the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Business and is a Certified Financial Planner®. An active member of his community and dedicated to giving back, Tim is a long-standing member of both AdventHealth Kansas City’s board of directors and AdventHealth Kansas City Foundation Board.

Tim lives in Louisburg with his wife Susan, together they have raised three sons. Tim enjoys spending time outdoors with his family, playing tennis, and restoring classic cars.

With over 30 years of marketing and customer service experience, Ronda is a seasoned professional dedicated to community service and healthcare advocacy. As one of the top concierge realtors in the Kansas City metro area, specializing in assisting physicians and their families with relocation to ensure a seamless transition for essential professionals.

Prior to real estate, she spent 18 years at Blue Cross Blue Shield, mastering marketing and operations management. Ronda has served non-profit boards such as Young Women On The Move, Heartland Women’s Leadership Council and the Health Outreach Foundation, alongside her involvement with multiple Chambers of Commerce throughout the community. She brings strategic leadership and a commitment to making a positive impact in the community.

Laurie Dowgray McCormack, BA, MPA

Executive Director, AdventHealth Kansas City Foundation

Laurie McCormack currently serves as the Executive Director of the AdventHealth Kansas City Foundation and AdventHealth Ottawa Foundation, which serve the health system’s needs and community work in the Kansas City and Ottawa areas.  With more than 30 years of nonprofit resource generation experience, Laurie has expertise in fundraising, constituent relations, public relations, marketing, special events, and organization/board management.  She has served on numerous boards and held officer positions at several including Nonprofit Connect, Safehome, Southtown Council and Southtown Foundation, and is currently a Trustee Emeritus for University Health Foundation and Immediate Past-President of the Rotary Club of Overland Park.  She is a 2001 graduate of the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce Centurions Leadership program, a recipient of the Influential Women Class of 2013 award, 2010 graduate of the Greater Missouri Leadership Challenge, and a 2019 graduate of the Johnson County Citizen’s Academy.

Sam Huenergardt is the Chief Executive Officer for AdventHealth's Mid-America Region. In this role, he provides executive leadership and oversight for the region, which comprises the AdventHealth Shawnee Mission network, AdventHealth Durand and AdventHealth Ottawa.

Sam's career has included roles at multiple AdventHealth facilities. He previously served as President and Chief Executive Officer for AdventHealth Parker (formerly Parker Adventist Hospital) in Parker, Colorado. Prior to that, he held positions as President and CEO for Central Texas Medical Center in San Marcos, Texas, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer for Gordon Hospital in Calhoun, Georgia, and controller at Shawnee Mission Health.

Sam earned a Master of Business Administration from Baker University and a bachelor's degree in business administration from Union College.

Michael A. Boehm

Michael “Mike” Boehm is a Senior Vice President with Commerce Bank in the Business Banking division. His responsibilities include building relationships with commercial clients and individuals to serve their banking needs with a focus on lending, cash management, and investments. His career in banking spans over 40-years, 38+ of which have been with Commerce at the Lenexa location. From 1991 through 2023, Mike served in various roles with the city of Lenexa including the Planning Commission, City Council, and 21-years as Mayor. He has been active in numerous local, regional, and state boards and commissions focusing on government policy, business, education, and the arts.

Mike joined the AdventHealth Kansas City Foundation Board in January of 2024 and is currently a member of the Board and Executive Committee of the Johnson County Community College Foundation.

Mike is a graduate of the University of Kansa and an avid Jayhawk fan. He also is a graduate of Leadership Lenexa (1987) and Leadership Kansas (1997).

Steven P. Cline

Steve Cline, P.E. is Vice President at Burns & McDonnell responsible for operations in the Aviation & Federal global practice with over 20 years of experience in the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry. He focuses on innovation and technical excellence in delivery of design and construction projects across all offices nationwide in the aviation and federal markets.

In addition to his board position with AdventHealth Kansas City Foundation, Steve is a member of the Kansas City Civic Council’s 2023/2024 Kansas City Tomorrow leadership class and is a longtime supporter of local news coverage on KCUR 89.3. Through leadership and community engagement, he is dedicated to making a positive impact both locally and globally.

Steve holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in civil/structural engineering from Purdue University and the University of Illinois respectively. He completed his MBA at the University of Missouri Kansas City in 2019.

Martin W. Cole, Jr

Marty Cole retired from Country Club Bank in 2019 where he was an Executive Vice President in the commercial loan department. Since moving to the Kansas City area in 1975, Marty has spent nearly 45 years of his professional career in banking, or other finance related businesses, working closely with local businesses, investors, and individuals with their specific financial needs.

Marty has been involved with various professional and civic associations, including: American Heart Association-Heartland Affiliate, Greater Kansas City Division, Board Member and Chairman 2002 -2004; Catholic Charities Snow Ball Table Sponsorship Committee for various years; Heartland Business Capital, Member, the Overland Park South Rotary Club and a United Way of Greater Kansas City Fund Raiser.

Currently, Marty serves on 2 civic boards; AdventHealth Kansas City Foundation Board member for 28 years and on the KidsTLC Board. Marty recently finished his term on the FBI Kansas City Citizens Academy Alumni Board and recently accompanied a U. S. military veteran as a volunteer on the Heartland Honor Flight to Washington, D.C.

Marty holds a Bachelor’s of Science-Business Administration (BS/BA) Degree, majoring in Finance and Real Estate, from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, Arkansas and a Graduate Degree from the Graduate School of Banking, University of Colorado at Boulder.

Marty and his wife, Beth, have two daughters, a son-in-law and granddaughter and reside in Overland Park, Kansas.

Michelle Dew, MD, FACC

Michelle Dew, MD, FACC, is an award-winning, Board-certified cardiologist with AdventHealth Medical Group. She sees patients at our cardiology practices in Merriam, Lawrence and Lansing, Kansas.

After earning her medical degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine, Dr. Dew completed her internal medicine residency at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. She went on to complete her cardiovascular disease fellowship, including service as chief cardiology fellow, at the University of Arizona-Tucson.

Dr. Dew’s clinical interests include women’s cardiac issues including during pregnancy and menopause; men’s cardiac care; and general cardiac care such as prevention, maintenance and pre- and post-surgical care. Her vast clinical and leadership experience have earned her countless honors, including being named a Kansas City Top Doctor by Ingram’s Magazine in 2021, 2022 and 2023.

Trent joined Waterfront in 2018 as Vice President, Director of Business Development.  Trent came to Waterfront with extensive experience helping companies in the financial services industry achieve their growth goals.  His background includes consumer lending, small business growth, establishing new markets, and enterprise sales.  He is a graduate of Kansas State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and International Business.
Trent loves to spend time with his wife, Brianna, and their 2 children.  You will also find Trent serving at Legacy Christian Church, coaching girl’s fastpitch softball, watching his children play sports, or hunting in a field somewhere with Bullet.

Robert V. Jackson, MD

Lindsay Jager

Lindsay Jager currently serves on the Angel Board at The Children’s Place, the Executive Committee of the Pembroke Hill School Parents Association and is a board member of Maddie’s Mission.

Previously, Lindsay was a Lead Government Strategist for Public Policy and Government Affairs at the Cerner Corporation. During her time in this role, she helped lead Cerner’s public policy team through the establishment of policy positions, government relations and industry stakeholder involvement.

Prior to her work at the Cerner Corporation, Lindsay spent a decade on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. She was Legislative Director for Representative Steve Stivers (OH-15) and a Senior Legislative Assistant for Representative Patrick Tiberi (OH-12). In these roles, she supervised a legislative staff, directed policy positions and worked with communications teams.

Lindsay earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana. Lindsay and her husband, Niles reside in Mission Hills, KS with their children, Lucy and Henry.

As Chief Marketing Officer for McCownGordon, Sheri leads the firm’s marketing and brand strategy and plays an instrumental role in driving the company’s strategic plan. She oversees a team focused on brand building, corporate marketing, vertical market initiatives, sales support, internal communications and customer experience. Sheri also serves on the company’s executive team, which sets corporate strategy and provides enterprise leadership.

She was named one of the Kansas City Business Journal’s Women Who Mean Business in 2017 and an Influential Businesswoman by Kansas City Magazine in 2013. Sheri was also recognized as a Rising Star in Philanthropy in 2011 by NonProfit Connect.

Sheri is immediate past chair of the Greater Kansas City Chamber’s Executive Women’s Leadership Council and also currently serves on the board of the Kansas City Area Development Council where she is on the executive committee, as well as AdventHealth South Overland Park Hospital and Goodwill of Western Missouri & Eastern Kansas boards.

As the CEO and Founder of DataLocker, Jay leads a data security solutions provider that delivers advanced encryption products and services for government, military, and enterprise clients around the globe. With over 16 years of experience in cyber security and a diverse background in pharmacy, steel fabrication, and startups Jay creates strategic partnerships and drives new business development for DataLocker.

Jay has received multiple honors and awards for his entrepreneurial achievements, such as the Kansas City Region Top 10 Small Business, the Entrepreneur of the Year, and the 25 Under 25®. In addition, to serving on the Board of Directors of AdventHealth Kansas City Foundation Jay also is a member of the board of Directors of Axiom Strategies and as a Trustee for UMKC. He holds a BS and a BSP from the University of Kansas and an MBA from George Washington University.

With a robust background in sales, marketing, education, professional development, and business development, she has honed a unique skill set that bridges corporate expertise with a passion for organizational growth.

Throughout an extensive career journey within Fortune 500 environments, Kathie has garnered invaluable insights into the intricacies of large-scale enterprises, understanding their dynamics, challenges, and strategies for success. Leveraging this wealth of experience, has allowed her to transition into a role as a Global Gallup Strengths Coach and Consultant, dedicated to empowering small to midsize companies in achieving organizational development and sustainable growth.

Kathie's commitment lies in facilitating transformative change within companies, aiding them in identifying and maximizing their inherent strengths while addressing core development areas through a holistic root cause approach. Kathie and her team specialize in crafting tailored solutions that drive efficiency, enhance team dynamics, and foster innovation, ultimately enabling businesses to thrive in today's competitive landscape.

Her academic journey had an unconventional start with a health science major. Soon after Kathie pivoted to a focus in business graduating with honors from Baker University in 2009 with a degree in Business Science Management. In 2020, she attended Gallup's ICF CCE Training Program and obtained Gallup's Global Strength Certification. In May 2023, Kathie completed her Executive MBA through UMKC's Henry Bloch School of Business. Starting January 2023, she joined the AdventHealth Foundation board and currently serves on their strategic development committee. When Kathie is not coaching, consulting, or teaching, you'll find her enjoying time with family, traveling, and looking for educational opportunities to further her professional growth, allowing Kathie to bring the most current strategies to her clients.

Carl V. Migliazzo, MD

Carl V Migliazzo MD is a retired ophthalmologist who graduated cum laude from the University of Missouri Medical School in Columbia, MO. Following a residency at UMKC and a prestigious Fellowship at the University of California in San Francisco he joined the Kansas City Eye Clinic and practiced across the street from AdventHealth—Shawnee Mission for 32 years. His commitment extended beyond clinical practice as he served on the Board of the Shawnee Mission Outpatient Surgery Center, eventually assuming the role of Medical Director. 

 A proud native of Kansas City MO Dr. Migliazzo has previously served on the Board of the Children’s Center for the Visually Impaired and resides in Leawood KS with his wife, Elizabeth, a retired artist and art teacher.  In his leisure time he enjoys golf, pickleball, reading, and cherishing time with his children and grandchildren. He joined the Board of the AdventHealth Foundation in 2015 and served as its Treasurer for several years.

David W. Newcomer IV

David Newcomer IV has served as a member of the AdventHealth Shawnee Mission Foundation Board for nearly 30 years. During the 50th year celebration of Shawnee Mission Hospital, David served as chairperson of the Foundation.

Awarded an NROTC scholarship to the University of Kansas, after graduation he was commissioned as an Ensign deployed on the US Winston KA-94 and earned a Vietnam Service Medal.

After his time in active-duty, David joined D. W. Newcomer’s Sons Funeral Services in 1966, eventually becoming a 4th generation partner. He is one of only a handful of practitioners in the country to earn the designations of both Certified Funeral Service Practitioner (CFSP) and Certified Cemetery Executive (CCE).

After selling his interest in his company, he was invited onto the Board of Directors of Capital City Bank, headquartered in Topeka, Kansas. By the time the bank was purchased by Capitol Savings Bank, also of Topeka, David had logged more than 15 years on Trust and Trust Investment committees.

Other community activities include Board memberships in the Arts and Recreation Foundation of Overland Park, the Kansas City Museum when Science City was being established at the Union Station.  He continues his 40+ years in the Overland Park Rotary Club. 

Presently, he is compiling a book on his father’s letters to his mother during WWI

Julie C. Pine

Julie Pine serves as Chief Legal Officer of Carson Group, a financial services company based in Omaha, Nebraska.  She is responsible for all legal, risk and regulatory matters. Prior to joining Carson, Julie served as Executive Vice President, General Counsel, and Chief Risk Officer at Lead Bank, a community bank located in Kansas City, which was recognized gor its innovative banking as a service platform. Julie began her career at McDowell, Rice, Smith & Buchanan, P.C. as a commercial litigator and equity shareholder. After that, Julie served as General Counsel of Mariner Wealth Advisors, a financial services company with over 60 firms nationwide.

Julie has been recognized for her leadership, receiving the Missouri Lawyers Weekly In House Counsel Rising Star award and being named a NextGen Leader. In 2020, she graduated from the Greater Kansas City Chamber’s Centurions Leadership Program. In addition to serving as board member of the Foundation, Julie serves as Vice‐Chair of the Women’s Employment Network, Secretary of The Educator Academy and is on the University of Kansas Law School Board of Governors.
