2024 Festive Fashion Face-off
Festive Fashion Face-Off is a fun and unique way to support the amazing programs at B.E. Smith Family Center, home of Britain Development and Early Learning. Participants should be movers and shakers in the Kansas City area who love to show off their holiday spirit through festive attire. Competitors will put together a fundraising campaign culminating in a Festive Fashion Face-off during the Tiny Tim Holiday Fantasy. Winners will be crowned in two categories, Best Attire, as determined by the audience, and Biggest Fundraiser. Participants must be able to attend the Tiny Tim Holiday Fantasy on November 7, 2024, at the Overland Park Convention Center.
How It Works
Participants will create an online fundraising page telling their story and why they are participating in the Festive Fashion Face-off and fundraise via social media, email, text message, etc. Participants are encouraged to “tease” their festive attire. AHKCF will also share competitor pages on its website and social media.
Online fundraising pages will be open until 5:00pm on November 7th. Each participant will receive a button with a QR code allowing them to “work the crowd” for additional donations at Tiny Tim. Participants will take the stage before dinner to strut their stuff for the audience response vote and one last visual appeal for a donation vote. Voting by donation will end at dinner service and all competitors will come back to the stage after dinner to find out who was the biggest fundraiser.
Costume Guidelines
Outfit must be modest and appropriate for a family-friendly event
Must be “holiday” themed – festive dress attire. Red, green, holiday characters, movie personalities, etc.
As over the top as you want
Must be able to be worn all night and allow you to walk on stage
No religious figures or costumes tied to religion
